Bent elements “Bent”
Process description of the Bent line.
Izhevsk Composite Technologies Plant “Arplastic” offers its customers equipment for the production of composite bent elements.
Concrete works great for compression and is capable of withstanding tremendous loads. But its tensile performance is quite modest due to relative fragility.
Bent elements for strip foundations, foundation plates, floor slabs, piles, poles and other structures requiring increased strength, load distribution or reducing the total weight of the product.
Welding of composite reinforcement is impossible due to the dielectric properties of the material, and therefore, to form angles during reinforcement, it is necessary to knit individual straight bars or use finished elements. The use of elements makes it possible to better distribute tensile and deformation loads, making the frame solid and, therefore, more durable, which positively affects the strength of a reinforced concrete product.
How to bend fiberglass reinforcement? Bending of bars of such reinforcement is not possible in the conditions of the construction site. The wide capabilities of the process for production of materials of various shapes determine the wide range of composite materials that our equipment can produce. Angles reinforcement using L-, U-shaped and "trapezoidal" elements. Reinforcing bars in the case of casting monolithic structures are placed in the formwork with a certain pitch and are tied together by knitting wire or plastic clamps of the desired length.
It becomes possible to manufacture U-shaped flexible connections in the form of a bar and small bends at both ends.
Composite bent elements can be L-, U-shaped and "trapezoidal".
The uniqueness of this equipment is that the Bent line allows producing:
- U-shaped elements with max side length of 500 mm with the possibility of increasing (as agreed by the parties);
- Trapezoidal elements with a maximum trapezoid height of 800 mm with the possibility of increasing (as agreed by the parties);
- Possibility to form rods with a diameter of 4 to 16 mm. Manufacture of trapezoidal parts and cutting is carried out automatically. Manufacture of L- and U-shaped elements is carried out in a semi-automatic mode;
- Performance up to 1000 meters per shift, depending on the diameter of the bar;
- Operating personnel - 1-2 persons.
Performance depends only on the diameter of the product bar.
Line Features:
For the production of bent elements:
- Polymerization furnace, the use of imported temperature controllers allows stage heating. Availability of PID control allows the furnace to operate in the most optimal mode. Operating temperature of furnaces up to 400 °C. Stainless steel heating elements significantly increases the service life and reduces energy consumption. Heat-insulating materials are used, which allows to exclude deformation of the furnace structure. The surface of the furnace is heated to 60 °C;
- The system for heating epoxy-polymer binder in the impregnation bath increases the life time of the finished mixture;
- The line is equipped with a pre-heating roving system;
- The rollers and guides in direct contact with the reinforcing bar during the production process are made of steel grade 45;
- Adjustment of the pitch of the deformed section Pressed thread;
- The volume of the bath for epoxy resin is 8 liters;
- Possibility of quick replacement of bath for epoxy-polymer binder;
- Adjustable product speed through the operator panel;
- High-precision pulse counter for metering of finished products.

Warranty period is 1 year. Consumables such as heating lamps, electric heaters, belts, automatic elements, belts and magnetic starters are not covered by the warranty, malfunctions are eliminated at the buyer's expense.
The warranty is valid subject to the correct operation of the line and periodic maintenance in accordance with the rules of maintenance.
